Honoured to be applying and open to a new challenge as well as an opportunity to share my cross experience in oil & gas upstream industry.
Most of my job life was in the deep water Brazilian waters. First company was Petrobras were after a 2 year training program I was assigned as company man in the deep water section (at that time an unconventional and pionner experience). In sequence, drilled the 2 first pre salt wells not an economic reservoir then. Moved to the drilling engineer’s section where I changed drilling procedures (used until today) and introduced new technology. Developed a new management structure to plan and follow well drilling / completion activities and finally created first drilling bit’s data bank. As drilling section was extinguished I was moved to directional drilling section.
In Halliburton I helped to introduce rotary steerable in Latin America and adapt the tool to local conditions. I’ve been working in all types of directional wells: HTHP, extended reach, geosteering, horizontal wells, side-tracks and always using my drilling engineer’s experience to improve the well design. Including 2 years at Devon’s Polvo Template in Brazil where I contributed to change well design and reduce well drilling days from 50 to 18. Moving to Schlumberger I’ve tasted the company’s management excellence and an intensive pre salt campaign. In the two companies I’ve worked at IOC operators. In a word, I have a complete insight in the oil drilling industry.
Nowadays I’ve left oil industry to restructure my life with my family in Madrid.
I’m a team worker, always pursuing perfection and quality and hope to have a chance to begin in a new affair, delivering more profits to the company and spreading my experience and good ethic examples to my job mates.
Best regards,
