A Master’s level Professional Geotechnical Engineer specialised in Geotechnical Engineering that combines a strong academic and analytical background with solid design, supervision and monitoring experience in large scale projects. Following my Bachelor Degree in Geology, I was awarded an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering specialising in tunneling and foundation engineering from UCM in Madrid, Spain, where I became familiar with the geotechnical behavior of tunnels, in soils and rock as well as their influence in surrounding structures.
My work experience includes approximately nineteen years Geotechnical Engineering experience in tunneling, ground Investigation, infrastructure and highways etc. I have participated in all project stages, including procurement and design in Spain, Romania and the UK. My background comprises of different areas of geotechnical monitoring technical reporting, pre-project geological surveys, wrecking and refurbishment of buildings, gas & oil deep drilling, environmental remedial of contaminated ground , geophysics,  caverns, mining, load tests to structures, civil works supervision, dam monitoring reports, tunnels for High Speed trains, Madrid, Metrosur, Barcelona, Valencia and Gijón Underground, London Crossrail, highways, sewers etc. using various excavation methods. Microtunnels and pipe jacks, tendering and consultancy.

I acquired Chartered Status in Spain in 1996, acquired EurGeol status in 2015 and I am in the process of applying for Chartered Status in UK.
